The speakers share the same basic blueprint as the units TIC sells to theme parks, holiday resorts, and other commercial businesses, with tried-and-tested high-impact ABS plastic exteriors and omnidirectional drivers that emit sound in all directions. The 360-degree soundstage ensures the largest "sweet spot" of any speaker type, filling your exterior living space with pleasing audio regardless of where you're standing or sitting. Each speaker sports dual 4-inch cone drivers with a surprisingly wide 60 Hz to 10 kHz frequency response and handles up to 40 watts of power.

Almost as satisfying is the GS-10's clever housing, which resembles a particularly tall, narrow mushroom. The black-colored units blend easily amidst garden structures, plants, sprinkler heads, or even decorative items such as gnomes or cast-iron sculptures. They're also easy to install thanks to the bottom spikes, which hold the speakers securely when planted in a dirt surface. Alternately, listeners can attach them to a deck or post using the included fasteners. They're even small enough for mobile applications, such as when hosting a beach or a boat party or camping at the beach. (They're not powered, however, so users will need to provide amplification.)

As with all of TIC's OmniSpeakers, the GS-10s are completely weatherproof, resisting rainstorms, heavy winds, scorching sun, and other hazards. The speakers measures 6.5 inches in diameter and 17.5 inches tall each and come with 30 feet of speaker cable.
